In past years, the Diversified Group staff has exchanged Christmas gifts with one another. However, this year they decided to give to charity instead and they invited all to join in!
They chose to donate to Operation E.L.F. (Embracing Lonely Families) which supports Connecticut Military Families dealing with stresses and hardships during the holiday season. A Christmas tree was set up in the main lobby with tags on it encouraging all to donate new, unwrapped toys for all ages as well as grocery, department, pharmacy and gas gift cards to be used throughout the holidays and beyond for families in need. All donations will be given to the kids and families on December 17th.
Diversified Group feels that it has been a rewarding experience for all participants and they are proud of the number of gifts their staff has donated and collected. “What a great lesson for us all to learn about giving during this time of year!”
